Efficient energy use is the cornerstone of creating a sustainable, robust system for your business or process. If heat is utilized or generated as part your operation, cogeneration (or CHP) and/or heat recovery systems and techniques can dramatically improve your primary energy use. Whether Energy as a Service (EaaS), or a project solution, Nomad will help identify the most effective solutions to improve your primary energy use metrics.

Hydrogen has the potential to dramatically shift the global primary energy use to a low carbon / low greenhouse gas emissions future. Building on a diverse industrial/power/chemical experience base, Nomad has the expertise to develop strategies and execute projects to produce or utilize hydrogen, whether it be from blue hydrogen, green hydrogen, or alternative carriers such as ammonia or methanol.

According to the World Bank, the world generates 2.01 billion tons of solid waste annually, with at least 33%* not managed in an environmentally safe manner. Much of this waste has an opportunity to be put to better use than in a landfill or in our oceans. Nomad can evaluate and deploy technologies that allow waste to be utilized as energy and/or basic components that can be reused into new products.

Our modern supply chains and systems are vulnerable to disruptions, changing regulations, and continued operations—often due to how they use resources and energy, and those processes’ byproducts. Nomad can apply solutions that allow your business to become more resilient to energy and supply chain disruptions. If your processes generate excess CO2, Nomad can provide strategies to reduce or eliminate its harmful downstream effects. No doubt, plastics have transformed our everyday lives for the better. Unfortunately, we have not kept the same progress in advancing reuse processes and systems. According to the EPA, as of 2018, more than 75% of first use produced plastics end up in a landfill.
